Squaring 50s
Squaring numbers between 50 and 59 can be very easy if you know this nice little trick.
Look at the math problem 522 = ?
- Square the one's digit..
- 22 = 4. It needs to take up two digits so write down 04.
- Add 25 to the one's digit.
- 25 + 2 = 27.
- Write down 27.
ANSWER is 2704.
