There are many tricks to multiply two digit numbers but there is a special trick to square numbers that range from 90-99.

Let's look at 93^{2} = ?

- Find the difference between the number (93) and 100.
- 100 - 93 = 7

- Square that number:
- 7
^{2}= 49

- 7
- Write 49.
- It has to take up 2 digits so if it was 2
^{2}you would need to write down 04.

- It has to take up 2 digits so if it was 2
- Subtract the original answer (7) from the number (93)
- 93 - 7 = 86. Write 86.

**ANSWER is 8649.**
